Chestnut Lodge is Grade II* Listed. The project included a new two storey extension, improvements to the layout, a new front doorcase and landscaping. The conservation work involved the replacement and strengthening of the oak frame, the reinstatement of a mullion window incorporating new leaded light glazing, and complete redecoration with lime paint.
